Sylvie wore her Cinderella dress the entire day and every "cast member" who works there (that includes everyone from Ariel to the sweepers) has to say"Hi Princess!" to her all day long. That was my favorite part. Sylvie's favorite part was seeing the princesses in the parade. I was literally choked up by that point. The teacups and dumbo and small world and pirates - we did em all! At the very beginning, Sylvie turned and said "Mommy, is this real or pretend?" and, since we were in the pirates ride, I told her it was pretend. She wasn't scared again the whole day. She crashed at about 3 while we ate dinner at the bayou lagoon (or somehting like that) which was perfect because she got up about 1 1/2 hours later and our day lasted from 8:40 am until 11:30 PM.
I got the feeling that we were in a special place, not just because they work hard to make it all seem magical but because you can just tell that being there is a special occaision for all of the families there; a fancy family from Spain with a little 4 year old dressed as Belle, a 14 year old in a wheel chair waiting in line to take her photo with Ariel, four 22 year olds celebrating their friendships with a reunion at disneyland, and us, 3 Sedlik cousins with our own 4 children and one grandma all there to spend a memory day together. It was perfect.
Here are some of the facial expressions which made me verklempt all day long....
"We are at Disneyland!"

Thank you to Cousins Sandra and Sophia for being Disneyland EXPERTS and leading us around all day with their well-trained disneyland noses. We sniffed out all of the best rides, experiences and merchandise! We couldn't have had the day we had without you guys
